Mission

The Rogue Resiliency Fund offers investors a diversified portfolio of opportunities within Southwestern Oregon. The Fund will target strategic opportunities and fund local entrepreneurs and projects that aim to offer both current income and long-term capital gains, as well as applicable tax benefits for accredited investors.

 Goals & Purposes

  • To aggregate and re-localize capital from local investors
  • To create jobs, build responsible entrepreneurial capacity, and grow local wealth
  • To support the growth and development of businesses responsive to our local communities in strategically targeted sectors of the region’s economy.

These include:

  • food production,
  • processing and distribution,
  • secondary wood products and other small-scale manufacturing,
  • alternative solutions to healthcare services, and
  • locally centric financial services. 

The Fund will fund selected companies via direct equity, convertible and/or secured debt; and provide technical assistance to partnership businesses when warranted.

 Initial Business Objectives

  •  To secure $500,000 startup capital from a minimum of fifteen investors by July 31, 2011
  • To increase Fund assets to $2.5 million by December 2012

 Social Objectives

  • To catalyze 25% economic self-sufficiency in Rogue Valley by December 2013
  • To catalyze more than 95% employment in the Rogue Valley by December 2014
